GoBe U: Device does not turn on

If your GoBe U does not turn on, don’t worry — in most cases, this can be resolved with a few simple checks. Below you’ll find the most common causes and what you can do.

1. Check charging and cable indication

Connect your band to a power source and observe its behavior:

• Is there any light indication on the charging cable?

• Does the indication change or appear briefly?

If there is no indication at all, the issue may be related to the cable or power source.

2. Recall when the issue started

This helps narrow down the cause:

• Did the band stop working after a full battery drain?

• Or did it stop turning on while it still had charge?

• Were there any previous issues with charging?

3. Check for recent actions

Think about whether any of the following happened before the issue:

• Contact with water (shower, swimming)

• Firmware update

• Factory reset

• Actions performed in the app

These factors may affect device behavior.

4. Perform a hardware reset

Try restarting the device:

1. Connect the band to the charger

2. Press and hold the button for about 7 seconds

3. Release the button — the device will reboot

Important:

A reset deletes current-day data. We recommend syncing the device beforehand and performing the reset in the morning if possible.

If the reset did not help, we recommend fully discharging the band and leaving it in a discharged state for 3–4 hours. After that, please connect the device to the charger again and check whether it starts working properly.

5. Possible battery issue

In rare cases, the battery may degrade (for example, after long storage in a fully discharged state).

Main sign:

• The band turns off immediately after being disconnected from the charger and does not respond to the button.

Additional signs:

• Light indication changes briefly when connected to power

• The band shows a full charge indication, but does not work without the cable
