Understanding the Calorie Intake and Expenditure Graph
The GoBe U works together with the HEALBE app to visualize your calorie intake and expenditure over time.
Sharp upward spikes on the graph reflect moments of active nutrient absorption. These spikes often suggest meals high in fast carbohydrates.
The shape or height of the spike doesn’t indicate whether you're absorbing fats, proteins, or carbs — it only shows the intensity and speed of absorption.
Graph layout:
The line above the X-axis displays calories consumed (intake).
The line below the X-axis shows calories burned (expenditure).
Light-colored lines mean the data is still being processed and not yet finalized.
Why the Graph May Look Small or Compressed
The app automatically adjusts the graph’s scale based on the highest intake peak in the past 7 days.
If one day had a very large spike, this sets the scale for the entire week.
As a result, other days — even with normal meals — may look visually smaller, although the data is still correct.
This isn’t a bug — it’s a designed behavior that helps:
Keep large spikes from going off-screen.
Fit all values within the display window.
After 6 days, the high spike will fall outside the 7-day window, and the graph will re-adjust automatically.
Is My Data Affected?
No. This only affects how the chart looks — the actual measurements and data behind it remain fully accurate.
If you’re comparing your chart to another user’s, remember that each graph adjusts individually based on the user's weekly peaks.
